Clinton Onyekwere

Founder & CEO, Clinton AI Ltd

AI Engineering Architect with a background in both technology and business. Holds an MSc in Management (AI & Digital Transformation) from Leeds Beckett University, completed the Northcoders Full Stack Developer Bootcamp, and trained in Cloud & Cybersecurity at University Academy 92 — combining strategic thinking with hands-on engineering and security awareness.

Has designed and delivered production AI systems for clients across e-commerce, maritime procurement, education, sports analytics, and enterprise research. Each project built deep domain expertise and reinforced a core belief: AI should empower people, not replace them.

Founded Clinton AI Ltd in February 2026 to turn that belief into products and services that create real value. Now operating Katalyst (AI product content for e-commerce) and PortQuote (AI maritime procurement) in production, while continuing to serve clients through AI consulting and system development.

Our Values

What we stand for

These are not marketing words. They are the principles that guide every product we build and every project we take on.

AI for Humanity

We build AI that serves people — not the other way around. Every system we create is designed to enable humans to achieve more, make better decisions, and spend time on work that matters.

Solve Real Problems

We start with real pain, real workflows, and real spending — not assumptions. Every product and system we build addresses a problem validated by people who experience it daily.

Production-Grade Engineering

Every system we build is designed for production: fault-tolerant, auditable, documented, and maintainable. We ship software that works reliably at scale, not prototypes that impress in demos.

Responsible Innovation

We build guardrails, evaluation frameworks, and validation layers into every AI system. When our outputs inform business decisions or reach end users, accuracy and reliability are not optional.

Truth Before Assumptions

We measure what matters: activation, retention, real usage. We ground every decision in evidence — real user behavior, real workflows, real outcomes — not vanity metrics or gut feelings.

Focus Beats Breadth

We win one use case deeply before expanding. One beachhead served well is worth more than ten segments served poorly. Clarity and depth create lasting competitive advantages.

How We Operate

10 principles that guide every decision

Informed by years of building production AI systems and the lessons of founders who came before us.

1

Clarity Before Scale

If a product is not clearly positioned, scaling wastes resources. We get the positioning right first.

2

Truth Before Assumptions

Real workflows and real spending tell the truth. Opinions and compliments do not.

3

Behavior Over Vanity

Activation and retention matter more than traffic and impressions. We measure what drives real outcomes.

4

Focus Beats Breadth

One segment served powerfully is worth more than ten segments served loosely.

5

One Workflow, Not Many Features

We replace fragmented workflows with unified, intelligent systems — not feature checklists.

6

Distribution Must Be Tested

We judge channels by user quality, not visibility. Every distribution assumption is tested, not guessed.

7

Price Around Value

Pricing reflects the value we replace and the outcomes we enable, not just the cost to build.

8

Build Around Outcomes

Every feature must improve a user outcome or a business outcome. If it does neither, it does not ship.

9

Build the Whole Product

Trust, usability, documentation, and proof matter as much as the core technology. The AI is only part of the product.

10

Founder Discipline

Clear thinking under pressure is the job. We face hard truths directly rather than hiding behind optimism or busyness.

Our Bookshelf

The ideas that shape how we build

Our operating framework is grounded in these 8 books. Each one addresses a different dimension of building products that matter.

Journey

How we got here

2024

MSc Management & Full Stack Developer Bootcamp

Graduated from Leeds Beckett University with an MSc in Management, focusing on AI adoption and digital transformation strategy. Completed Northcoders Full Stack Developer Bootcamp, gaining hands-on production experience with React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.

Early 2025

First Client Projects

Led QA and AI product strategy for Partaake (event SaaS platform), catching 8 critical bugs pre-launch and shaping their AI pricing model. Then built enterprise AI evaluation frameworks and multi-model LLM pipelines for Velocity AI. Learned what production AI actually requires vs what demos suggest.

Mid 2025

Rapid Growth Across Industries

Delivered 20+ projects across sports analytics, education, maritime procurement, and enterprise research. Earned a reputation for production-grade AI systems that ship fast and work reliably.

Late 2025

Expanding Across Industries

Built Medallion Sports (AI prediction platform), African Language House (AI education image pipeline), and PortContact RFQ (maritime AI procurement). Each project deepened expertise in a different domain.

Feb 2026

Founded Clinton AI Ltd

Registered Clinton AI Ltd as a Private Limited Company in England & Wales (Company No. 17055092). Launched Katalyst — an AI product content platform for e-commerce sellers. Began productising PortQuote for maritime procurement.

2026 →

Building the Product Portfolio

Expanding from services to products. Katalyst and PortQuote live, ResearchMate in development. Publishing applied AI research based on production systems. Building a company that creates lasting value through AI.
